The Route Cost Estimator allows you to quickly calculate the cost of a transport route by simply entering the pickup and destination addresses. The calculation takes into account the following factors:
- →Distance
- →Trip duration (including horse welfare industry recommendations)
- →Fuel cost
- →Fuel consumption
- →Tolls
- →(Optional) Driver’s hourly rate
How to Activate
To enable this feature, you need to provide the required data in the Route Cost Estimator form: during the main onboarding flow (Step 3), or later, as a separate setup
At this stage, you define your vehicle(s) fuel consumption and driver rates, so you won’t need to enter this information manually for each calculation.
How to Use
Once the setup is complete, the Cost Estimator form will appear on your dashboard. Enter the pickup and destination addresses to get an instant estimate. If you have multiple vehicles, select the appropriate one from the list for the calculation.
